and i can't paly Battlefield™ 2042. firstly i download the may laptop in this account never paly in my lap top only downloaded. And every files copy my pc and installed and ea app not working . please tell me how can fix this issues.

here it is issues screen shot

  • So since my issue, I've since found a somewhat solution.

Original issue: I have EA Play Pro subscription. Origin app decomissioned by EA - I switched to EA Desktop. EA Desktop does not allow me to add Battlefield 2042 (add to collections) or download.

After many "fixes" such as use vpn, reinstall EA Desktop, etc etc, nothing worked.

Solution: Downgraded EA Play Pro subscription to EA Play (regular) - I was then able to add Battlefield 2042 to my Collections (add to library). EA Desktop now recognized Battlefield 2042 installed and now was playable.

AFTER adding 2042 to collections, I then upgraded my EA Play BACK to EA Play Pro. I have been able to play Battlefield 2042 since without issue. Hope this helps anyone having similiar issues.

It seems like EA Desktop is not recognizing some games as available through EA Play Pro subscription. I hope EA looks into this and fixes it as Origin launcher is forcing us to use EA Desktop now.

  • Origin launcher went out of service on the 8th. After open Origin it does not allow any games to be launched, but only gives the option to download EA Desktop.

I had similar issues but here is what I've discovered so far as I've solved my own issue.

EA Desktop is not recognizing some EA games as being listed in the EA Play and EA Play Pro subscription service. EA Desktop is not recognizing or adding all of our Origin library games.

Solution I've found for my particular issue regarding EA Play Pro subscription: Downgrade from EA Play Pro to EA Play (regular) > add (Battlefield 2042) to collection > upgrade back to EA Play Pro - game is now accessible and playable.

I have since been able to play and launch Battlefield 2042 without issue with EA Desktop.

    I hope this is helpful!
