Almost the same problem...
I recently bought A Way Out from the Steam store and tried to play it co-op with a friend, but all possible methods did not work... The main problem is that the game cannot be downloaded in its trial version or the version intended for the other device. The download option for this version is not available, as well as in the game download page  On EA App Store it doesn't provide download option and it shows error code 500
