@aneureny are you launching Sims 4 from Epic or EA app? Could you try launching from both apps to see if you get different behavior?

The error suggests that Epic isn't handling the game launch request and so we see that generic error dialog.

Appreciate if you could also upload an error report after testing launching from EA app and Epic separately.
