Summarize your bug wont lauch bf2042, I bought on steam then am forced to open ea app. easy anit cheat doesent even activate and the game shuts down

What do you expect to see? a working game
Just decided to get into BF2042 again and was greeted by a force uninstall of origin and installation of ea app. I bought the game on steam and now when i launch the game easy anti cheat does not activate and when the ea app runs the game in steam is shut down. Tried launching through ea app and nothing happens except an error message of cannot launch. fix it or bring back origin, i didnt pay money to not play a game.
