Battlefield 4 Wont Launch Steam/Origin

So recently I went to play Battlefield 4 but it completely stopped working. It wont launch at all. I tried a whole bunch of things to fix it. Verify game files, uninstall, reinstall, run both origin ...

Mine EA app is still reacting the same way. Ill open bf4 through steam, it then takes me to new ea app and doesnt launch. If they havnt fixed this by next week im unsubscribing. Use to work fine

Hey guys so i managed to fix the issue by looking at some other posts around.

By replacing the files: vcredist_x86 & vcredist_x64  (download these off the windows site)

in the folder:

E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 4\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist    (or wherever your game file is)

Make sure to open these files to install them. 

it fixed the issue.
