Battlelog support with ea desktop

Hello! 

I am a Battlefield 4 player and while most newer users opt to use the new interface that is shared with BF1 BFV etc, a large amount of players still prefer to use Battlelog. When I try to launch the game through battlelog with EA desktop running I get this prompt. 

when you press start origin (with EA desktop running) it just changes the text to  "Waiting for Origin to get ready..." and nothing happens. If you press it with neither origin or EA desktop running it tries to start EA desktop but battlelog is still waiting for origin to open.
