Cannot open my game due to EA App error (Error code: EC:10005) Update: fixed
Whenever I try to open my Sims 4 game via my home desktop screen, this error comes up via the EA App. I'm just so frustrated because I'm tired of having to go "through" the app when I just want to play the game. (It's caused plenty of issues, such as not allowing me to play the Sims 4 when offline, even though that capability is available normally at home, but for some reason, when I actually don't have any internet access, it doesn't work...but that's an issue for another time).
Today, I just want to be able to play the game, but the EA App is not letting me open it. I have tried restarting the app (as well as my laptop) and exiting it and reopening it multiple times, and disconnecting and reconnecting my wifi to no avail.
If anyone has any fixes for this or suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
Update: I was able to fix the issue by turning off my actual wifi modem and turning it back on, then reconnecting the wifi. :)
