cant open sims/crashes

Hey, I switched from origin to the EA app on my Mac, and now every time I try to open the game the game crashes. Do anyone know how I fix it?

This is some of the message I get:

Time Awake Since Boot: 100 seconds

System Integrity Protection: enabled

Crashed Thread: 0

Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000

Termination Reason: Namespace DYLD, Code 1 Library missing
Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/libActivation.dylib
Referenced from: <BA0FC5C6-B95E-3DC0-A1ED-817B8848F226> /Users/USER/*/The Sims 4.app/Contents/MacOS/The Sims 4
Reason: tried: '/Users/linneatakelund/Applications/The Sims 4.app/Contents/Frameworks/libActivation.dylib' (slice 1 extends beyond end of file, fat file, but missing compatible architecture (have 'x86_64,arm64', need 'arm64e' or 'arm64')), '/usr/lib/libActivation.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache)
(terminated at launch; ignore backtrace)

  • Hey, yeah I deleted the app and found the repair button. Now it's working. I see that you should upgrade sims as well. How do I do this or is the repair button doing the upgrade? Thank you for your answer

What is your game version number? Load the game to the main menu, the version number is in the bottom right corner in small white print.
