Can't play offline

Question

Whenever I go offline and start The Sims 4 either from desktop icon or within the EA Launcher, I get an error in the app saying "You've been offline for a while. Restart the app and sign in so we can make sure it's really you. Then you can get back to playing games offline. Error Code: EC:200"

I restart the app, I log in, everything loads, I go offline, I start the Sims 4, and I get the error again.

This was not occurring before the emergency fix was rolled out.

I'm playing with mods.
Sims 4 is NOT updated to the latest. (because I want to play offline)

im having the same issue, i have mods and i heard that the latest patch breaks CC and mods so i turned offline mode on, but it wont let me play

Same here, and once I restarted the app it auto-downloaded even tho my auto-download was off. :| And now my game is broken and won't open.&nbsp;

I've found the solution:&nbsp;Despite auto-update being turned off, the Sims 4 tried to update and was showing as 0%.You need to cancel the update then go offline, close the app, restart the app, ensure the status is "Update Required" and not a percentage, then go offline again.
