I'm having the same issue with The Ultimate Collection
I used to be able to run the game through Origin, but since being forced to switch to the EA app, I haven't been able to start the game. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing both the EA app and the game. I've tried the repair option in EA app. I've also tried uninstalling CNCnet just to see if that helps, but nothing.
Running the EA app in administrator mode gives the following;
The "Launching" dialogue box
The EA app then asks for permissions, bear in mind I'm running the EA app in administrator mode. I click "ok".
The EA app then doesn't trigger the UAC to ask for my password, it does nothing and simply gives me a dialogue box which says "An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later."
How do I go about troubleshooting this as a system fault? Where would you recommend I begin?

- 3 years ago@Ranzeth Just an FYI, I've got Red Alert 2 and TibSun working, but to do so I have to play the game from the Administrator ACCOUNT, not from my standard user accound with the Admin password. Something isn't triggering the UAC, or there's a file in the game somewhere that isn't set to run as admin, maybe?
What .exes exactly does anyone else have set to "run as admin" to allow the game to start from a standard account? Is it all of them? I really would prefer not to use the admin account if at all possible.
