Controllers not working with Steamlink and EA app

@EA_Darko The issue only occurs when using the EA app. It works absolutely fine when using the Origin app so the issue must be with the EA app.

If it works fine when using the EA app on your system @A8e5 and only occurs when using third-party hardware then this is not something we can assist with.


We are not able to help with issues related to non-EA hardware.

    @EA_Darko Ok I guess I won't be upgrading to the EA app any time soon. It looks like Steam doesn't work at all with games in the EA app (configs and overlays etc,) so a lot of people will not be upgrading I would assume.

      Hey @A8e5 I use EA App and Steam without any issues.


      Your issue is that you are seeing an issue when using a third-party piece of hardware that was discontinued a number of years ago. We cannot assist with such hardware as it is not EA hardware.

        @EA_Darko if you are referring to the steamlink hardware I do not use it. I am referring to the steam overlay for example having steam chat or a bespoke controller config in steam. None of that works in the EA app. As well as steamlink from multiple different devices.
