@Coraychi I tried this and the EA app no longer recognized the game at all. It was still in my library, but it wanted me to redownload it because it thought it now belonged to another user.

EA app gets the location from registry entries, so moving the folder will just lead to EA app simply not finding the game any more as you experienced.
Coping the files will not change anything, EA app will still use the Original location, so this is pointless.
What modding tool do you use?
- @holger1405 FrostyMod, but it won't launch from the EA app, from the folder directly, or from FrostyMod.
FrostyModManager will not work with EA app, the Mods will not be loaded into the game.
Did you used "Frosty Fix" at some point? (You will have to if you get the game to run.)Your PC specifications are below the minimum requirements for DAi.
So this might be a additional problem.Please preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.
Make sure your virus scanner and other security software and also Afterburner and similar software is disabled.
- @holger1405 There's absolutely no way that my computer is below the minimum requirements because I've been running DAI on this computer for years with absolutely no problems before this app update. And, as I said, I have tried to run the game probably 100 times directly from the EA app without using FrostyMod. It will not open at all. I appreciate that you're trying to help, but I think the EA app is the problem, since it is the ONLY thing that changed between last week when the game ran perfectly and this week when it won't open.
I will try FrostyFix.
