Yep, having the same exact issue right now. Xbox game pass user on a Win10 Asus laptop trying to play EA game pass games is just a pain at this point, origin didn't have these issues ☹️

Thanks for letting us know what you're seeing with Dead Space and EA App, to check would it be possible to go through the following steps if you have not then check if this continues?
- Ensure the installation folder is writable, and no Ati-virus or security software is interfering.
- Ensure you have enough space for the game to fully install
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows
- Clear EA App's Cache
- If you see the error again, try downloading another game (use Apex if you don't have another) and let the installation get to about 15% to see if the error pops up, if not stop the download and try Dead Space again
If you keep getting the error, would it be possible to get a DxDiag from everyone still running into the error?
