Could you double check on Origin and let me know if it works there?
In some cases it won't work through the EA app, like when you have purchased the game through Steam/EPIC/etc. In that case you'll have to use Origin.
Or is the part of EA Play through the Xbox Game Pass?

Tried it as well, but same case, it just doesn't give any feedback (There is no "double check your connection or try again later"). But on origin social (where i see my friends), my status is "STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II In menu" and I'm not in the game. When I click "Play" button, origin minimizes, "Play" button is unavailable for 3-5 sec, then origin opens again and "Play" button is open to press again.

I have the same issue with Mass Effect Legendary Edition. How can this still be an issue if we are all paying for the sub? This issue has been open for months. What is the ETA to fix? With no additional information provided on when this will be addressed, I would suggest that advertising that XBox Game Pass and EA Play have Mass Effect Legendary Edition is false advertising.
- 4 years ago@Nishnu Same thing here, downloaded the game via Game Pass this weekend and have spent the last 2 hours trying to get it to launch with error message
Your game failed to launch
Double-check your connection, or try again later.
Nothing wrong at all with my (fiber) connection 504 Mbps down and up- 4 years ago

@EA_Jason I am having the same issue with any EA Play (Game Pass) game that I try to play I have
Run App Recovery (with and without Admin Priv)
Uninstalled and reinstalled EA Play
Uninstalled reinstalled the Games
Added EA App to Firewall
Disabled Firewall
Launched game from game directory
Launced game through Xbox Gamepass
Can't test through Origin as they don't sync with EA desktop App
Ran a Clean Boot of Windows
All of these I no matter what I still get error
"Your Game Failed to Launch
Double-Check your connection, or try again later"
- 4 years ago@o0MadLarkin0o I am too getting this error, have done the same troubleshooting steps as you too, still no luck.

Ive tried everything as well, but for me its Apex, drivers install, delete the game and reinstall. Glad its not just me having the issue.
- 3 years ago@xMAGNAxTANK117 I also have this problem with Apex Legends, did this problem work out for you, and how long did it take?

I also just started getting this with Apex today. Going through all the solutions but nothing's working so far.

ALso getting this issue, downloaded Jedi Fallen order, trying to launch and just getting this "check your connection" message
- 4 years ago
Same problem with Mass Effect LE. Spent my sleeping hours downloading it (slow connection), tried everything I've read online to fix it, getting same message.
There needs to be a way to 'verify intergrity of game files' like steam has.- 4 years ago
Im also seeing the same problem.

Same dude and the best part is that im playing on GeForce Now and i can't do things such as going to file manager etc.... i think that game will just be in my library doing nothing now, great job EA you have successfully looted off a customer!

did you ever get this fixed? Im just gettting to the new jedi game and am also getting this error. Thanks

Doesn't seem to be a fix yet. At least on my part. The games used to work fine when I was on Windows 10. I upgraded to 11 and still was able to play BF1 BF4 and BF5. Decided to download Titanfall 2 again to play on W11 but to my srprise the error started appearing on all games that previously worked after trying to play Titanfall 2. I am trying to reach support but I don't think it will be very helpful. ☹️

I'm getting the same problem with every game I try to play through EA Desktop. This is through having EA Play via Xbox Game Pass. Regardless of whether I try to play the game through the Xbox app or the EA app it's the same problem. Nothing fixes it.

I'm having the same issues. I tries Origin aswell as EA play, but none of em work, they say I don't have a connection. I tried Jedi Fallen order and other games too, butI can't play them.
Downloading the game works just fine, but after that it just says I'm offline....weird huh, since you can log in and all, see friends, download games.....
