Dragon Age Inquisition Not Launching x EA app

Hello

I have a problem with Dragon Age Inquisition, i have tryed clean boot, fullscreen optymalization, lunching the game as administrator and compatybility with win8/7/vista, fixing files in origin/ea desktop app, disabling my antivirus and reinstalling directx and vc redist.

I'm not getting any error or something when i press Play my origin just minimalizes and after few seconds pops up back and game don't want to lunch, no black screen or anything too.

Hi @Robin7808 Thanks for this information, as @mcsupersport mentioned we may be running into a performance issue on your device. One thing to note your DxDiag does not list a Processor.

If we are running into a performance issue, we can try the following to see if it helps DAI load again, if not we may need to try a different device.

Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates

Troubleshooting Graphics issues

Verify any Anti-virus, or other software is not limiting the client and game (try closing out of additional apps then trying to play)

Close all other running apps prior to launching the game

Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

You Dx diag shows only an R5 onboard graphics chip as your video card. I don't think that meets the minimum standards and could easily cause DAI to not run. Have you ever succeeded in having it run on that laptop?? I wouldn't expect it to run well even if it did run.

@EA_Illium I have been playing for the last year on Origin, but it stopped working not too long ago. I thought it might be something to do with things being transferred to the EA app, so I tried the EA app and it had the same problem. The game would show that it was launching, and the apps (both Origin and EA) would open an do something, (Origin would open in the mode with the message at the top saying it's open to run a game on steam then go back to it's normal window, EA would go from my library to a loading circle in the middle like it was doing something back to my library) and then stop doing that something, then the game just wouldn't load. I haven't had any problems with it since I got the games until now. It's also affecting DA2, which I also have from Steam.

Hi @JustCallMeInhi @Robin7808 To confirm are you using Origin or the EA App client? Also, would it be possible to get a DxDiag?

I'm also having this issue and have been for a few days. Running through steam and then steam runs it through origin. I also tried going through the EA app, but it still is doing this. I also had an issue before this happened when my game would freeze on the black loading screen with the symbol in the corner and I would have to use the task manager to close it. It's so frustrating because I've been trying to get it to work for over a week with the latter issue and three days for the former.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, checked my drivers were up to date and doing all the things OP did with no result. It's so frustrating.
