EA app + Sims 4 game keeps crashing

So at first I was able to play the game, I didn't do anything much really. I didn't use build mode, I didn't download or uploaded stuff to the gallery. I was simply just managing my sim.

After 30 minutes the game crashes out of nowhere and ever since either the EA app refuses to open OR if the EA app does open, it refuses to launch the Sims 4.

I tried multiple things, like repairing the game, checking my drivers which are up to date. Try playing in a clean user folder, uninstalling and reinstalling both the EA app and the Sims 4 games.

Just as additional info: I don't use or have mods in the game files.

Only thing that I did differently today compared to the last few days is the fact I pre-ordered the new game pack
