EA App : Verifying/Recognizing pre existing game files (Download)

Hello,

Origin had the recognizing pre existing game files feature (Like most major game launchers today).

I was downloading the game Jedi Survivor on the EA App (a massive 130GB download size), and today download was stuck at 70GB.

I noticed under the download bar in download manager:  "Experiencing Download Issues > Get Help" and the first and only solution they suggested was clear cache. 

So I cleared the cache and reopened the app, and there was no progress for Jedi Survivor in download manager (The downloaded game files so far are still intact in the previously selected game destination on my hard drive, the app just refuses to recognize that progress).

Please tell me there is a way to resume the download from 70GB by verifying/recognizing pre downloaded game files for the game (I live in a country with a very slow download speed, it took me 5 days to reach 70GB). I was looking for a way to resume the download after it got stuck, and their solution "Clear Cache" ended up removing the download progress entirely. Surely this can't be right. If I wanted to restart the download I would have just canceled it and restarted it. The lack of options and information in their "Get Help" page is both insulting and infuriating. 

Please help, I already wasted an entire week of my EA play pro subs downloading Jedi survivor, not looking to waste another on trying again from scratch.
