EA app "couldn't connect to server" while trying to purchase new packs or kits

I've been having this issue for a long time with the new EA app. I'm using on Mac, the problem is every time I try to buy a new pack, it allows me to enter my payment details and right when I'm about to click on "purchase now" the screen always goes to "couldn't connect to server, try restarting" and it restarts the EA app by itself but the problem still continues. Dear EA, you need to fix this whatever bug, it's been going on for so long. All I'm saying is, I really want to give you my money to buy these packs but your buggy app won't let me, and the fact that it's still not fixed for such a long time is so disappointing. I tired app recovery to clear cache files, but it just loads and loads and nothing ever fixes. Please give some answers and not template/ AI bot solutions.
