  • Hey @Samtaroooo

Please try the following steps and let us know if that helps.

First, perform app recovery* in the EA App. Then, close down the app and also close EAappbackgroundservice from the task manager. Next, navigate to the location where you have the EA App folder. By default, it is located in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop. Once you find the folder, locate and click on EAUpdater.exe to update the app. Finally, check if you are able to update the app after completing the update for the EA App.

If you can’t open the EA app, you can also follow these steps to clear your cache.

    1. Open the Start menu.
    2. Open All Apps.
    3. Find the EA folder and click the downward arrow to expand.
    4. Select App Recovery.
    5. A confirmation window will pop up.
    6. Click Clear Cache.
