EA App crashes when trying to download Sims 4 update
It's perfectly fine otherwise, but it crashes after a short bit of trying to update Sims 4. I end up having to do an app recovery to get it to work properly again, otherwise the app just crashes any time I try to open it after this.
I sent a couple error reports:

On Windows 10 Home 22H2.
It started yesterday (June 9th) in the afternoon. Probably around 4PM central time?
The exact error is "The app crashed unexpectedly. We ran into a problem, but a quick restart should fix it".
EA app version: 13.220.0.5733 (hotfix-33cdc64701)
I've included the EA app error logs in case they're needed.
I had this same problem. I got Sims 4 to open by quickly canceling the update as soon as ea opens then repairing the game. It's under Sims 4 -> manage ->repair. Also, repairing the game shouldn't mess up your save files but its good to back them up anyways when troubleshooting something like this.
