I am grateful you shared your experience! I hope they will refund you the difference. I would try support again, you may get a different rep who actually knows how to refund you the balance. I would keep opening a new case, just on principle alone and I would verbalize such. a reminder if you will.
principle: a fundamental truth or proposition that is the foundation for a system of beliefs, behaviors or reasonings. 2 opposing cash values are not equal in this case and should not be treated as such. My morals say this is wrong, an ethical person would say it's no big deal. It's only a few dollars! Just my opinion.... not wanting to start a argument here.

Exactly. I’m seeing prices listed as €16, but my bank statement shows I was charged $19. That means even without the misidentification of my account region, EU customers are being charged more. looked into it and €16 is not equal to $16 in fact, since the euro is valued higher than the US dollar, the euro price should have appeared cheaper. Instead, I ended up paying more, which makes this feel like an unfair practice.

my country is singapore but for absolute no reason the region is set to USA. I bought something which displayed 49.99 usd and when i bought it it charged me 54.43? what is even going on here
