I am grateful you shared your experience! I hope they will refund you the difference. I would try support again, you may get a different rep who actually knows how to refund you the balance. I would keep opening a new case, just on principle alone and I would verbalize such. a reminder if you will.
principle: a fundamental truth or proposition that is the foundation for a system of beliefs, behaviors or reasonings. 2 opposing cash values are not equal in this case and should not be treated as such.
