EA app doesn't work on mac at all

I have tried literally every suggested fix and nothing at all works and i haven't been able to play the sims for almost a month at this point. Why is the app not working whats wrong and how can i play these games can i use origin again or something? i really don't know what to do and why did they have to roll out a broken app.

Locking this thread as it's already going off-topic by mixing and merging two different errors that, likely, are not related.

Since OPs @KickoKickic error is about the "The app crashed unexpectedly" error in the EA app, @KickoKickic please report it in here with the data requested on page 1 of the thread.

It's so frustrating. Nothing but "Error Code EC:106" for a month. I know Mac users are like 1% of their player base, but they really just rolled it out to Mac and didn't care if it worked or not.

I just posted something here not too long ago. I was wondering when you guys downloaded the EA app in general did it not even download to begin with? I am having issues getting it onto my external hardrive. It wants to automatically install it to the regular bootcamp instead of the external drive even after I've clicked it.
