I am aware that this issue has been around for about 2 years but I can't seem to find a fix for it. the EA app works fine for me other than when I boot up my computer. The app just signs me out and makes me sign in again.
Hey,
Can yall try the following and let me know what happens? The App should remember your login unless you change the password or manually log out
Reset the EA password to something simple for testing (change it afterward)
EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
Then the following:
Delete Windows Temp Files
- First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
Optional Registry clean-up
- install CCleaner (it's free) from here
- Run Registry cleaner
- Click review selected issues
- Do you want to back up? No
- Click Fix all selected issues
I would reboot the PC, clear all cache and history from all browsers if you change the password and log into the app again. If you want to test it, reboot your PC and see what happens.

I am sorry but you should not be asking anyone to install CCleaner to run a registry clean. It is good as a cookie cleaner but has had issues with the registry clean portion (I had used it for years but between windows 10/11 it isn't really necessary imo). For the simple fact you could be causing more issues than what they already have with your Launcher and then it isn't even your problem as it wasn't your app that caused it! If you feel it is a left over registry entry you should provide a step by step process on how to remove it i.e., press Windows key + R then type "regedit" and press enter then navigate them to the remnants, while also making sure its fixed to do it itself or fix the underlying issue in a future client build. Besides that it is clearly a problem with your Launcher. Whether or not that is how it is coded or how it talks to your servers only your devs would be able to say. Personally I only just started having this happen tho looking up solutions for it it appears to have been around for a couple of years now. Yea that is going to be frustrating and discouraging for most people.

@Str8MayheM85 This is why it is optional and we don't ask players to do it. We can suggest it because it is a part of the troubleshooting process. What we cannot do is ask players to go into their registry and make changes. If they delete something that they should not have that can fall back on us. I understand why it would concern players for sure and if they chose not to, they have every right not to.
- Str8MayheM852 years agoRising RookieNot to refract from this post, as I stated I came here looking for solutions because I now have this same issue happening.
I tried a complete fresh install (without any registry editing) which I thought had fixed it but it was only temporary as the problem returned.
But back to my earlier comment and your reply "We can suggest it because it is a part of the troubleshooting process. What we cannot do is ask players to go into their registry and make changes" this is exactly what you're suggesting players do with CCleaner, it deletes registry files and far more registry entries than what EA would have left behind. Which is why I said potentially causing more problems than what they already had with the EA Launcher. A step by step entry removal process from you would be the correct troubleshoot/solution to this.
Are there any updates to this or are there any devs actively working on a fix or looking into it? I get its not a huge problem typing in login info but you do have a "keep me signed in" option so It would be nice if it did just that.

This EA App is like a virus that you can't get rid of. How do I stop it form starting up every time I turn on my computer?

I use CCleaner regularly and also Clear temp folder regularly.
I'm sure you know, really, that asking people to take these steps is just delaying tactics.
After all, this has been an issue with the EA app for a while now.

The admin fix that I thought worked for me, didn't. It initially seemed ok for a couple days but the app is now back to asking me for my login details.
Useless EA, how hard can this be to code? You have people that can make functional AAA games but not a simple login info retainment fix for your app? Seriously? It's outright embarrassing.
