Not only do I have to log in every time, but now it also sends a code to my email before I can even get into it. Beyond frustrating for just a game app, it's like getting into fort knox just to play your game
I have been having this "not remembering login" error for quite some time. Flushing the cache does not help. Admin rights do not help. And falling back to the Origin app is no option either, because only the EA app lets me connect to other gaming platforms, e.g. Epic. I need that connection for validation, because I bought Battlefield via the Epic store. And truly, Battlefield is the last game from the EA universe that I am actually still playing. EA has become that bad and irrelevant. If if were not for the stupid app requirement, I would not visit any EA franchise anymore at all. Worst company, worst software. And I say that as someone that uses Ubisoft launcher, which is widely regarded to be a steaming pile of ... you know.

To anyone who is curious.. I did the reformat of my machine I was talking about, complete partition delete then create new partition, format again for extra safety and did a fresh Windows 11 install using the official Microsoft USB install maker tool.
Installed all drivers and various reboots
Installed windows updates
Installed my game launchers
Once again, only EA forgets log in details.
The app is broken. I consider this absolute proof as this is as clean an install as can possibly be done.
I have tried logging in both with game pass and my EA account, after a reboot it definitely forgets but I have not rebooted for a few days at this time and it forgets after a few hours.
The EA app is broken. Period.

I have been having this problem ever since EA Play integrated with the Xbox app on windows 11.
Not that anyone cares but I'll be canceling my EA Play Pro Subscription until this is fixed.

I finally found a solution for me:
1. Run the EA app once as Administrator
2. Enable 'keep me signed in' and log in
3. Restart the PC
4. Run the EA app as normal user
5. Auto login works :-)
So for me it was 100% a permission issue.
