EA App: Free Sims 4 pack, what if unable to upgrade from Origin?

I've been anticipating the upcoming release of EA for Mac ever since it was announced, and only today discovered that my computer won't be able to use it due to the operating system being out-of-date...

@urmajerk

Why not upgrade your Mac to Catalina or above? Or do you run 32-bit apps which is why you're sticking with Mojave?

Currently, it’s possible for my laptop to get to Big Sur, but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried updating it multiple times, getting the installer to download and everything, but I constantly get an error once it restarts to install it that says something is corrupted. I have to get it seen if I want to update but haven’t had the time and only recently got a backup drive for it. I tried all the fixes I saw online for the error to no avail.

    Hey @urmajerk, this promotion will be for the EA platform as a whole, so Origin for Mac and EA app for Mac, and PC.
