I had the same issue and the following worked for me: I checked all the "Microsoft Visual C++..." under "Apps" and choosed "Repair" where it was available. I restarted my computer and then the installation went just fine.
I have the same issue here. I've tried these steps:
clearing the cache (both ways), run the ea app as a administrator, start the ea app again, reinstalling the ea app. I've looked on the second computer also. There is the same issue. I've read over the ea answers ... NOTHING HELPS. It doesnt want to download anything from DLC. Its kind of a joke really...
It wasn't happening till the latest patch..
Can smb from EA can help us here? I've sent the ea help and report about a bug, but no one responded beyond the bot.
Mam ten sam problem. Próbowałam tych kroków:
czyszczenie pamięci podręcznej, reinstalacja aplikacji, uruchomienie jako administrator, odpalanie aplikacji od nowa. Patrzyłem tez na drugi komputer- jest ten sam błąd. Przeglądałem posty na EA Answers.. NIC NIE SKUTKUJE. Nie chce pobierać żadnych DLC do Sims 4. To jest jakaś farsa lekko mówiąc...
Błędu nie było do momentu aktualizacji mam wrażenie...
Czy ktoś z pomocy EA się odezwie proszę? Wysyłam prośbę o pomoc do centrum pomocy EA.
