I had the same issue and the following worked for me: I checked all the "Microsoft Visual C++..." under "Apps" and choosed "Repair" where it was available. I restarted my computer and then the installation went just fine.
EA Staff (Retired)So my issue is similar to what is going on in this topic thread, but it differs in error code and probably ways to fix it. The app was crashing moments after I would try to open it, so I uninstalled and reinstalled to try and fix it. But then it wouldn't get through the installation, giving me an error code "62-9A72" that no one seems to have run into before. I've tried clearing the cache, making sure the firewall wasn't blocking it, ran the installer as admin, and ran the program in compatibility mode for Windows 8. Sadly, nothing has worked and I keep getting the prompt with the error code almost immediately after trying to run the app installer. Any help that leads to resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
