This ###### stuff trying to communicate has to stop now. It worked earlier today for a few words as a test to a friend, then I said “hey it’s working!” And guess what, that was all ##### so I sent a third saying No! And that was fine. So then another friend sends a message about a match last night, so I reply, and it’s all #######. And most of last night the in game chat wasn’t working either. Then randomly it was at times.
im frustrated because there’s no indications of this being an error, profanity based and if so when, or I have settings wrong. There are times I send a few sentences when it’s working right, but the most random things in those sentences will be all #####. Is that giving me a strike towards total chat jail? What is happening? I have no other way to comm with bf2042 party members who play every single night. Only one is on discord and not always on mobile to play game and have chat there alongside.
please provide a fix and also indicators. Second, there’s issues with pc and eaanticheat in the background causing a game crash which is associated with the EA app and possibly nvidiacontainer but I suspect all this is connected but there’s no data to access myself with the limited options in EA, no stats, no history, no way to review my usage. THAT would be things most useful to the EA app. Even some info found on popular game stat tracking websites would be cool but the EA UI is so basic.
I'm right there with you. I was actually writing about this the other day, but didn't finish it so now I have to restart. I do think it is a Censorship / "Red Flag" Keyword issue. I have screenshots of swearing where it wasn't an issue and screenshots after that in further conversation where it flags everything. Including: "EA", "One" (but not 1), and standard conversation / words. What I'm guessing what happened is you cursed or said "Red Flag" Keywords before and instead of it immediately censoring you it let you keep doing it until the Censorship system decided to shadow ban your ability to type without warning you in any way like it did with me.
Honestly, it needs to become an industry standard that a setting / option exists to turn off Censorship for yourself. Anyhow, I'm gonna start another forum and provide all the screenshots to further put pressure on this issue, because it is insane that this is even a problem in modern society.
whats also weird is i had made the same post the day before the one you replied to and it seems to have disappeared entirely. but, after i made that previous post a match ended and prior to matchmaking starting up with my party an EA message that fit the full screen came up with a QR and talk of community standards and what not. suddenly half my in game chats work, not all and the ea app messaging will let me send a "test" to a friend but anything after like "it worked" is all ####
