Hey @123546739280192
Please make sure that your antivirus software is not blocking the app by adding it to the exclusions list.
This could also be an error in the system registry, so make sure to scan your registry a couple of times with any app of your choice.
This keeps happening and I do not have any antivirus software, this has been happening almost regularly for a year now. i have moved the location where EA downloads, and this issue has persisted through two different laptops. I launched EA yesterday with no issues multiple times. Additionaly, I have no custom content for anything, the only game I have is sims.

I appreciate the concern, but i did want to keep the message short, but I have the Microsoft built in antivirus (Microsoft Defender), which is just as good if not better than any other standard antivirus software. I figured it was not worth mentioning as I assume any app built to run with Microsoft would have to already have that factored it in.
If this is truly an issue with the Antivirus programs uninstalling the EA app that is a giant issue as it means that EA has some Malware or holes that make the app seem like it is malware, and therefor is badly made. I am mostly back responding to this as I had to reopen this thread to note it had happened again.
