Ea app not launching or repairing my game

 I downloaded the new update of the sims 4, but the ea app still shows that I have to update it even if the game and one of the free packs are up to date, but it won't let me update the other two free pack.  Then yesterday the ea app wouldn't launch and I tried everything, deleting the cache and the ea app just to redownloaded and repairing or deleting the game. If I try to repair or delete the game nothing happens, I click on continue and nothing changes, even if I want to start the game I have to play it from one of the pack to launch it.

I was able to delete both the ea app and the sims 4 game from the finder of my MacBook. When I redownloaded the app, I went to install the game but it still said "update the game" but I don't have the game downloaded (If I click on update it says "download the base game first", but idk how). I can't neither repair od delete the game now!
