ea app not launching
I have this problem where my EA app doesn't launch. It's stuck on the black screen. I managed to uninstall the app, but when I tried installing again, it says I still have it. I don't. I checked ever...

when I try to open the EA app the following happens:
I get a "connecting to the EA app" message.
then I get an error message that says "background services crashed" and "the background services aren't responding, so we're kicking off the update manually. Stay put while we get the app up and ready for you." and the options to restart or cancel.
if I cancel the same thing happens when I try to launch the app again.
If I click "restart app" I get a black window that tells me that "The EA app is already up to date" and closes itself after 5 seconds.
It happens on repeat whenever I try to open the App.
Help?
if I re-install am I going to loose the rewards from the sims login event?
Its happening to me too. I want to play sims, but sometimes it opens sometimes it doesn't depending on the day.
