EA app on mac stuck on cancel

Question

A few days ago i tried to update Sims 4 on my macbook and it wouldnt update, so i figured i would try cancelling and redownloading the update. now its been stuck on cancelling for 2 days. ive tried clearing my cache, restarting my mac, pretty much everything and am beginning to feel hopeless. i have spent so much money on this game there is no reason it should just stop working.&nbsp;

I had this today and had a look online.To clear I opened the EA App, selected Help &gt; App Recovery &gt; Clear CacheThen did Help &gt; Restart App&nbsp;This cancelled the download and has now downloaded the full game for me.&nbsp;

what do u press to get to help? it says there should be a button with three dashes but my mac doesnt have that for some reason&nbsp;

@samlemayy  In the menu bar at the top of your desktop when you have EA App open.
