@EA_Shepard I have followed ALL the above steps and the issue still persists, also I tried Un-installing/Re-installing the game to different drives. Overlay doesn't want to toggle on at all whatsoever... please, advise many thanks.

Here are some steps to run through if you have not yet to test them out just in case.
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop and double-click on EAUpdater.exe
Additional Steps
- Open task manager, locate EA Background Service, and end task
- Clear the cache for the EA app
- Check that the EA app is fully updated
- Run the EA app as an administrator
- Check for any background applications blocking the EA App
Delete Windows Temp Files
- First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
Last, just uninstall and reinstall the EA app. Make sure the game and app are on the same drive and not different drives.
