EA app says it needs full disk access when it already has full disk access

Hello, I had The Sims 4 installed onto an external drive. I am trying to download an expansion pack, but the EA app tells me that I need to grant full disk access to install the pack. But the app and the Sims itself both have full disk access. I have tried changing the download path and restarting both the app and computer, taking away access and giving it access again, and nothing. I think it may be because my mods folder and everything is installed onto the computer itself, but the game and packs are on the external drive? But I'm not sure how to fix it. I'm on a MacBook Air running Monterey 12.7.5. Thank you in advance.

  • @spriite95 After hours of trying to figure this out, I finally solved it! If you’re still having this issue, here’s what worked for me: Go to your System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access. Click the plus (+) button, then add the EA Launch Helper to the list and give it full disk access. I hope this helps anyone still struggling!

I've given full disk access to the EA Launch Helper but it still does not work. I also use a Mac and have tried everything and anything and this problem has been going on for months... The base game is able to download but none of the packs are not. Any other ideas on how to fix this?
