EA App won't download Battlefront 2'something went wrong'

What do you expect to see? The game to be installed
After spending months enjoying Battlefront 2 through GEFORCE NOW, I uninstalled the game from my hard drive to see if the game still worked in GEFORCE now - and it did!
Then, a dark cloud formed in the shape of the EA app, rendering GEFORCE NOW useless and leaving me to download the game again in the EA Desktop app - no big deal right? Not for companies that TEST their shoddy products first, or give advance warnings to third parties of impending change. But this is EA....
After spending days waiting for a fix (LMAO), i've uninstalled GEFORCE NOW, removed every reference of Battlefront 2 from my PC(including registry) and STILL greeted with the same error 'Sorry, something went wrong. try later'.
Other games that I haven't played on GEFORCE NOW install fine - Fallen Order, Squadrons, Battlefield V (stuff I didn't actually pay for) just Battlefront 2. PLEASE someone offer some help? Or must I wait until the end of time for either EA or Nvidia to fix this mess?
