EA app won't launch

I haven't been able to get the EA app on my MacBook to launch for a few days. It gives error code EC:106 and comes up with the message attached each time I try and open it.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling, restarting computer, clearing caches, and all other suggestions I've been able to find. I am running quite an old MacOS (Catalina 10.15.7) so am wondering if that is the issue.

Has anybody else experienced the same thing and has been able to resolve it?
