Let’s clear a couple of things up.
If you’re seeing a “Buy” option in the EA app for F1® 24 while you have Game Pass Ultimate on PC, that usually means the Game Pass entitlement isn’t being recognised by the EA app -- not that you’re being forced to purchase it again.
Even if your Xbox and EA accounts are linked, the most common causes are:
- The EA app is signed into a different EA account than the one linked to your Xbox profile
- The Game Pass subscription isn’t active on the Microsoft account that’s linked
- The EA app hasn’t refreshed the entitlement properly (signing out/in and restarting both the EA app and Xbox app can force a resync)
Start with:
- Fully close and reopen both the EA app and the Xbox app
- Sign out and back into the EA app
- Confirm the game shows as included in your Game Pass library in the Xbox app on PC
If the entitlement still isn’t recognised after that, it becomes something the forums can’t resolve directly.
Important: The EA Forums are a community space. We don’t have access to accounts, subscriptions, or backend entitlement systems, so we can’t manually fix sync issues. If the entitlement isn’t appearing correctly, EA Help will need to review the account linkage and subscription on their side.
I understand the frustration -- but this isn’t a case of the forums ignoring you. It’s about using the right channel for account-level issues.
Let’s rule out the common causes first and go from there.
