Okay so i read through this feed and i was unable to delete everything in the "EA Desktop" folder, but instead i found a super easy solution to this problem. i ended up just going to "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop" and then running the "App Recovery" program for EA and now im downloading the game no problem.
