EA Play on Steam unable to launch the game
So I bought EA PLAY on Steam in order to play Battlefield V, downloaded it but I'm not able to launch it. When I do press the play button, it showing on steam that game is running for a few secs but it never launches. When I launch it, Origin says that the store is not available due to launching game from another application, then the app reloads and nothing happens. Game shuts down. Ive tried to uninstall Origin, verify the game on Steam, launching the game, Steam and Origin as the administrator but nothing helps. It just loads and then shuts down. Also tried to restart or turn off my pc but no luck either. Don't know what to do next.
I talked to EA support yesterday and he seemed to know where the issue is but could not fix it and I have to contact steam support and I guess they can solve it.
So I contacted steam support but no answer from them and of course I can't refund EA Play since it's a subscription so yeah that's about it.
UPDATE:
yeah so so far they replied me that the problem they see is I do not have a copy of the game because I cancelled my subscription even when it says that it remains active until July 12, so after a more than a day waiting I got this reply, that is beautiful
UPDATE2:
@EA_Darko Okay so by the time Steam would reply my EA Play subscription will expire, so I managed to solve it by myself. Here is the solution for anyone who has the same issue as me.
First thing I did is unlinking my steam account from ea account and link it to another ea account. Then I deleted origin folder in %appdata% and %programdata%, logged in to another ea account, and that did the trick, its all working now, I can finally play. Hope this will help some folks out there with similar issue!
