EA won't accept any purchase methods

Question

I have been trying to purchase two expansion packs for the sims 4 on mac but every time I try to pay I get the message that this payment method isn't available at the moment or that they can't verify it's me.

I tried apple pay, credit card and paypal (even a friend's klarna), tried to purchase via the app and a browser - I also used another browser but nothing seems to work.
I've never had any issues with purchasing anything online so I'm sure the problem is not my side.

Seeing as you've already tried different payment methods, please try the following steps to see if it clears up the error:&nbsp;

Make sure your billing details in the EA app match the billing details for your card&nbsp;
Add the payment method to your account before making the purchase
Make sure the location on your account matches your real location&nbsp;

If the issue persists, you'll need to contact our support team by navigating to the&nbsp;Contact Us button at the bottom of this page. They'll be able to check your account and investigate further, as we aren't able to support account-related requests here on the forums.&nbsp;
