What troubleshooting have you performed so far @TheTeaShed?

As I think it is related connection, please try the following:

Launch the EA app as an administrator.
Turn off your VPN.
Temporarily disable your firewall and anti-virus or create an exception for the EA app.
Clear the cache via App Recovery.
Make sure that you don't have any proxies enabled.
