I've had an EA account for over fifteen years. It's not the one I'm posting from now.
On this EA account, I have The Sims 4 franchise, almost all the stuff packs and expansions—it's quite an investment.
Six years ago, following a personal event, I deleted my email address. I did it impulsively, without thinking, and especially without considering that this email address was linked to my EA account. Obviously, six years later, it's too late to recover it; that email address no longer exists, and it's impossible to recreate it exactly.
I still use it to log in to my EA account (I still have my password). Sometimes, without knowing why, it works, and I stay logged in long enough to play. But when I'm logged out, I struggle to log back in because it asks for a code to retrieve from my emails, and of course, the email address no longer exists, so I can't retrieve the code.
I tried changing my email address, but there too, it asks for a code, sent to an address that no longer exists.
This has been driving me crazy for six years. I've tried everything: opening cases, contacting AI support who asks me a ton of questions that I answer, but it's never enough. I'm ready to provide all the necessary documents to prove my identity.
At this point, I'm desperate. What can I do?
I don't want to lose my account; I just want to change this email address.
Thank you for your help.
