I have redownloaded the app, restarted my laptop, shut it off, and turned it back on again, and the app continuously says Error code 106. This is super discouraging because I have spent a lot of money on this app and I just want to be able to login and play. Any helpful tips are welcomed! I have also contacted EA support, but have not heard back yet. Thank you!

Please uninstall the EA app using Revo Uninstaller.

Then reinstall the app and see if it works then.
That is an error with sync. I have it too. Either it's 10005 or 10608 or 106... I'm as frustrated as you. Feels like stupid decision buying EA games via EA suggested application, right?
