error code 14-1632
I am unable to download the EA app; every attempt is blocked with an error message saying "...(error code: INST-14-1632).

Try turning off Controlled Folder Access in Windows Defender. I have been having issues downloading MULTIPLE things on my computer including the EA app for months.
Finally, I bought BF2024 and it wouldn't let me play because this error popped up on the EA App every time I tried installing it BUT out of curiosity, I turned off Controlled Folder Access despite initial hesitations and it worked.
I'm in IT by the way, I can confirm if you do this for the EA App it will be safe. Just make sure to turn it back on
