I have been unable to play my game for the past few days because the EA app is not launching my game in offline mode. I don't want to update my game, but the EA app is trying to force me to launch my game in online mode which I don't want to because I would have to update my game in order to play online. I'm so tired of these forced updates by EA. I reached out to them spoke to many support advisors, but they were all saying, "we can't verify that your game is licensed, and you have to launch the game online." basically saying I have no choice but to update my game. their support advisor on live chat told me they have no way to fix this at the moment even though they are aware that many people are having this issue and that they need to "investigate." I've seen many people have this same issue and it's been years, but they didn't try to fix it. and the best the customer support could do was tell me I need to upvote people having this issue. this feels like we don't even own the game we pay for because we are being forced to update the game to play even if we don't want the updates.
