Error code when trying to launch EA App - EC108

When I launch the game I get Error code: EC:108. It's been like this for days. I've tried to re-launch, clear cookies. Had no problems with Origin so it's very frustrating being forced to use EA and ...

I had this exact same issue and I found what worked for me. I was using CleanMyMac X, which had never caused me problems with Origin, but it was with EA. I realised I had disabled two "EA App Agents" under Optimisation > Launch Agents. I enabled both and problem solved!
