I had this same problem. See reply #72 in this thread that solved the issue for me and a bunch of other people. It's annoying that EA is not doing anything on their end to fix this but it's nice that the community was able to figure out a solution.

@DolphinDiscoPrtyIs that just a fix for the location of the EA App? I'm trying to change the directory that my games install to. I've tried the fix but it only changed the directory that the EA App was in and the default game installation location is still the C: drive
