Community ManagerHi, until today I've had no issues with the EA app. However, today when trying to open the App I get the error message "EA App Crashed Unexpectedly" as per the attached screenshot.
I've looked online at various solutions but nothing has worked - eg I've tried various options such as clearing the cache, deleting the Electronic Arts folder, changing compatability and running as administrator. I managed to get to the log in screen but then it crashed once I'd entered my credentials.
Please advise if there is a general issue with EA and, if not, what I can do to open EA

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, ran as administrator, cleared cache, fixed combability with windows and restarted my windows pc multiple times and it still won't open at all. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to launch EA App and it breaks down immediately.

It's happening to me, too. I've followed all of the suggested steps on other threads, and nothing is working.
It been hours since I last commented on this thread, and the app continues to keep crashing. When will the EA team fix this? Sadly, Steam won't launch The Sims 4 if the EA App won't launch itself. When I tried launching EA App for itself, it takes me to a blank EA App and then it crashes with an error.
omg it thought I was the only one with the blank UI issue here.
I agree none of the solutions are working for me either, it has been two days since it stopped working.
Same thing happening to me too. It's unbelievable how awful this entire EA app is. Nothing but trouble since they first launched it. Incredibly frustrating.
I am having the same issue. I thought, okay, repair it. That didn't work. Uninstall and reinstall. That didn't work. I tried to clear the cache. That didn't work. It just happened today, about an hour ago, and I've been trying to get it to work this whole time. Any ideas? Tell it to me like you would a six-year-old. :D
I also tried app recovery, and that didn't work either.
It tries to load, but a big blue (purple?) screen pops up, and then it goes away with "The app crashed unexpectedly, but a quick restart should fix it." It lies. I have tried to "restart" multiple times.

Okay, I got in touch with the helpline, and they stated (after first hinting it could be Sims mods) that they are looking into the problem and will keep us updated (since it's more than just us) and to be patient.

Update. Mine started working yesterday after work! YES! Thank you, EA. I was able to get my games loaded back in (after uninstalling the app).
It was working fine last night! I was playing until like 2am so I don't understand why suddenly it doesn't want to load. I've done everything all the forms have said (uninstalled, cleared cache, blah blah) and nothing has worked. It would be bearable if it was just Sims 4, but I can't play Sims 3 either.
Not being able to open the sims 3 IS the real tragedy. I feel your pain

Having the same issue!!! Worked fine yesterday and I’ve been trying to figure it out for over an hour.
Thanks I thought it was me I've also tried everything you said and still crashing I played yesterday no problem now today it's crashing.
It tries to, then repeatedly gives me an error message. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about. I run a PC with Windows 10. I've been playing every night lately with no problems whatsoever. My computer has more than enough to handle it. And I've even tried rebooting and restarting.
