[FIXED] "The app crashed unexpectedly" error in EA app since Feb. 7, 2024

RESOLVED   UPDATE: If you continue to experience this error after the fix for this instance of the error went live on Feb. 17, 2024, please report it in this thread. Thank you.   ...

Yes, and it's very frustrating!!! I've owned every battlefield since 1942 and although I've had issues before, it was nothing like this! I've tried everything, include a full reset of PC and fresh install. Highly aggravated! It's sad to think this "EAAntiCheat" is probably more about protecting EA's bottom line against piracy copies, than actually caring about cheaters in game.

Fix the issue, not on the legit users end. It's EA's/Dice responsibility to prepare for any windows or drivers changes being implemented and update accordingly. Users should never have to go and adjust settings to get your game to work. It's lazy and unprofessional on EA/Dice part not to stay ahead of this.

    ea app doesnt support firewalls blocks... it crashes on them..

    if you turn off firewall it goes well
